This grant supports purchasing and installing equipment that improves milk storage, handling, and energy efficiency on Northeast dairy farms, including storage tanks, pipelines, glycol chillers, and related supplies.
Who should apply?
Licensed dairy farmers based in the Northeast who produce milk within the region. Projects must occur in the Northeast, and those supporting raw, unpasteurized milk sales are ineligible. Awarded applicants must meet state and federal standards and submit required documents.
Lasso Tip
Make sure your dairy license, insurance certificate, W-9, and UEI are ready early. Missing compliance documents is one of the most common reasons for delays.
